Climb Mt Snowdon on 31st July 2016
Climb Wales’ highest peak on Sunday 31st July 2016 in a battle against one of the UK’s highest peaks. Experience the unique challenge that is Mount Snowdon and enjoy the reward of amazing views from the highest mountain in Wales.

What is the challenge?
You will be expected hike to the top of Mount Snowdon, walking along the Llanberis path to a height of 1,085 metres (3,560 feet)
Where do we meet?
The meeting point will be Empowering Communities office in Bradford where transport will be provided to take you to Mt Snowdon ready for the climb
When does this take place?
At 7am on Sunday 31st July 2016, we will set off from Empowering Communities office in Bradford. Roughly a three hour drive will get us to the foot of Mt Snowdon.
Why are we doing this?
The Snowdon challenge is an opportunity for you to trek up Mt Snowdon enjoying an exhilarating climb followed by breathtaking views to leave you in awe. You will raise sponsorship money towards the incredible work Emnpowering Communities are doing across the world and have a lot of fun in doing so.
How much will it cost?
The registration fee is £30 which must be paid to book your place. Additionally, you will have raised sponsorship from your friends and family who will be supporting you to complete the climb. A minimum sponsorship of £250 is required but typically this is incredibly easy to raise.
Register for the Snowdon Trek today and raise money to help us continue caring for orphans, the disabled and the elderly. You will be sent a sponsorship pack including a t-shirt and details of the challenge once you have paid your registration fee.
You’ll trek the long winding Llanberis route to the summit of the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085m (3,560ft) , admiring the breathtaking views of the Snowdonia National Park at your feet with Anglesey and the Irish Sea in the distance. A team of experienced Snowdon climbers will be with you every step of the way, however, a good level of fitness with prior training is required to take part in this challenge.
